Went for a walk around the Maribyrnong river this evening between the anglers hotel and the Afton Street bridge, and notice these fishing jumping out the water heading upstream.
Anyone know what these are, nothing I've seen before living on the river for 30 years?

What kind of jumps? could be mullet. They do that sometimes.
Unless the jump looks like they're being hunted, which could also be mullet, lol.
I've seen in warmies, a fish jumped out of the water, whole head body and tail.
