There was a video of a guy hooked on one of them with a soft plastic, close to the mooring boats (inside the rockwall).

Yeah was one caught at 4.30 today.....
Breakwall is only 15 min trip from my place so might put some hours in n hopefully get one......
7 or so caught last few months.

There have been a hell of a lot more than 7 caught in the last few months, if you put in the time you will get one, hope you get a cracker

Nice mate.

Yep heaps more than 7 in the last few months. I’ve heard of atleast 15 in the last few weeks. Must be a nice school living in there. 90% are coming from plastics 30 min either side of the tide change (more so the high), but no reason you wouldn’t get one on bait. I tried a few days down there last week for nothing on plastics. Got a gummy on fresh squid on the inside though which I thought was a jewie for sure. Ah well!
