land fishing - Maidstone Street, Altona

Post by thelastreject » Sun Aug 02, 2020 11:01 am

Hi guys!

I was wondering if anyone knew if it was worth land fishing off Maidstone street area in Altona?

I was thinking of just wading around and flicking some plastics but it is pretty sandy. I see a lot of guys wading around collecting bait and thought it might be a good feeding ground for some whiting or flatties.

Any thoughts? Anyone tried this?

If there’s bait there should be fish also if you fish sandbank drop offs on the runout you should get a couple flatties
