When i tried a metre or 2 off the bottom the small flattys always grab it, but a bit of surface burley and a float may worke.welch wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 8:08 amI have caught them before if there their they will take some pilchard on a medium hook maybe 1 -2 turns of the bottom that’s my advice or even a float set upfishnut wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 7:58 amHey bowl im keen to catch slimeys for bait if you dont mind sharing whats the method you usebowl wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 6:27 amFished Wednesday 12 to 4.

I first caught a few on really small plastic.
Just small long shank whiting hook small bit of pilchard ,pea size garfish sinker.
They have soft mouths so don't strike.
To many boats kayak, helicopter , catch a fish, catch a fish
