Best lb spot around Patterson lakes?
Hey guys, thinking of heading down for a fish to Patterson lakes tomorrow, any ideas for a reasonable on spot? General areas are fine I don't wanna pinch someone's special spot
Any ideas greatly appreciated, thanks guys

Walking the bank near the boat ramp is effective when lure fishing. Haven't bait fished there in ages but dad and I always seemed to do well when fishing to the pylons under the bridge, lightest sinker you can possibly cast on a running sinker rig drifted along the pylon or cast into he eddy behind it worked well.

Been there a few times, actually hoping to get down there tomorrow night again. I normally fish between the rail bridge and boat ramps, trying to work the edge where it drops away to deeper water, using a running sinker with earth worms or chicken soaked in tuna oil. Results can be mixed, seems to just be a matter of keeping moving until you find where they are on the day.

It's apparently a hotspot for bream which is what I was hoping for but no luck I guess u can expect much on low tide a passer by had a chat n said he catches bream throughout the day around the footbridge though I dunno where that is lol peeled prawn tails are great bait for bream n flathead

Good luck keen on hearing the report! FYI prawns are pretty cheap at woollie. Seafood section I got about 20 for under 3 bucks

There's a few bigger silver fish in there atm. Helped land an 82cm unit the other day. I dropped 2.

Re: Best lb spot around Patterson lakes?
No fine details but I was doing some testing of the new batteries and isolator in the boat etc. got out in Patto and sounded up a few fish. Luckily I threw the rod in. Unluckily the closest thing I got to hooking was was getting face scales lol. Helped another fisho land one plus I measured it for him.
