Patterson river/lakes fishing

Seems like we’re allowed to go for a fish with the new lockdown restrictions.
I’m new to the Chelsea area, would love some recommendations for a rock/pier spot near patto, time, what’s being caught now ..

Wear mask, stay with 5km, max 2 hours.
Aside from fish, anti-maskers ang COVIDIOTS are being caught...

the end of the rock wall and all along it near the river mouth can produce salmon quite regularly. try down there with some soft plastics or metal slugs.

Personally I’d be walking the Carpark area the full length of the boat ramp area hopping 5” paddle tail plastics on 1/4 or 3/8oz jigheads trying for a jew. Keep walking and keep away from people. Every man and his dog will be plonking themselves at the mouth imo.
