Frankston gars

Anyone that’s got any special advice for gars at Frankston or just to catch them in general can just post it here for instance I know that for gars at Frankston you really have to berley hard and hope that their there but I’m only an amateur I dropped four their and didn’t land a single one but anyone that knows more then me feel free to post some advice

Gars can be pretty tricky sometimes, they love clear calm water. You're right about burleying hard, I used to use a burley pot on the surface filled with tuna oil soaked bread, they'll sit in the slick. Then toss out some breadcrumbs soaked in tuna oil, garlic powder and water. Should be the consistency of a apple crumble crumb. They should also break part when the hit the water, make a fine cloud of burley.

What size hooks are you running?

I made this guide earlier in the year for PPB land-based garfish, should work the exact same.
