^ Beno at least used to have his own youtube channel as well. It was pretty good, not sure if it's still about.

Aside from casting into the sandy patches (for whiting), am I looking for something in particular at Balnarring? e.g. how can I identify deeper spots, approximately how far out should I be aiming to cast?

You need to be looking for the sand patches in between the reef. You don't have to cast out far at all with the aid of berley. Standing at the shore line I have caught them only 5 meters in front of me. Cheers Beno

Hey Beno,
Where's the best place to purchase bait in Balnarring? And any particular place you'd suggest for whiting? Going to be camping at Foreshore Reserve A this weekend, and gonna find some space for the rods.

Awesome - is it only surf fishing in Balnarring? Couldn't spot a pier from Google Maps
