Hastings pier
Hey guys thinking of heading out to hastings pier sometime and just wondering what have some of you guys caught there what's the best method rig etc and where to fish on the pier itself..?

berley up and you can get some mullet, trevally, salmon and whiting, small kl hook on a paternoster with chicken, squid and small cubes of bluebait for bait. :thumbsup:
PB- Snapper 55cm, Whiting 38cm, Flathead 55cm, Bream 38cm, Australian Salmon 55cm, Carp 80cm

I'm heading to Hastings tomorrow I'll let u know how I go tomorrow we r after Kgw but I'm bringin a heavy rod in high hopes for snapper! I'll b on a boat but some of our spots are still close to shore!
If I'm not fishing, I'd rather be fishing!

I often see people fishing there when I land the boat, no idea if they do any good, but I am def keen to hear some reports from the pier! hehe
