All of the species in WP actually prefer a bit of flow.STriplett1997 wrote:Tbh I’ve had more success with slow tides during the new moon week, don’t think it’s a bad thingKgWhiting wrote:Going to be slow tides with the new moon but never know your luck
A bit of misconception here regarding the moons and tides. All the smaller tides do is allow you to fish areas you normally wouldn't!

Probably true, I’ve heard that before. I just haven’t had the opportunity to really fish full moon periods properly until recently. Most of the Snapper and all the smaller Gummies I’ve caught have been new moon periodsslinga wrote:All of the species in WP actually prefer a bit of flow.STriplett1997 wrote:Tbh I’ve had more success with slow tides during the new moon week, don’t think it’s a bad thingKgWhiting wrote:Going to be slow tides with the new moon but never know your luck

Re: Fishing day Saturday
Thats crap. Slow tides mean whiting fisherman fish deeper with shorter leaders.
Gummy and pinkie fisherman love slower tides as the burley stays in the area and they dont need heaps odlf lead. Also get to fish places that cant be fished normally due to tide flow.
