Really short report.
9pm - 1am to catch the 12 midnight high tide
Pillies n squid out wide on the ocean side
Reedys flashers n water activated leds also trialled.
No bites, some nibbles, big zero
Pier quite busy with regulars out in force plus families.
No landings witnessed other than one Port Jackson, which was my cue to pack up n call it a night.
Once they are in the area you know its dead quiet.

Atleast you were there trying..
Hopefully next time will.produce.. I find evening times are better for mornington theres quite a few pinkies around in the evening..surprised you didnt get any of them

Last weekend I tried Web , Kerford, and Sandringham all at sun up or sundown and de nada... not even any decent bites. Granted the water looked woeful.... almost tannin like a creek with too many ironbarks fallen in.
My guess they are still in the offshore southern waters of the bay.
