So i follow a few fishing pages on instagram (to break up the car and tech posts) and worstelingtackleworl aka paul the guy from ifish posted this up from tarrans_fishing_adventures and i was just shocked at how big they get down there i reckon its nearly at the end of life for that size.

That's a great squid.
Certainly up there in size. And at that size they certainly give a good account of themselves..
I got some similar sized ones last year, just waiting for this weather to clear up to go and chase some biggies.
Tarran is defenitely a gun landbased squid angler.

Nope.

The hood length looks like about 4x of the jig. Big I'd say.
Where you reckon it was caught?

It's a nice squid. It's an even better forced perspective. Looking at the guys hands i'd guess it's about a 35cm hood.
