Port Philip Bay Arrow Madness

Guys,
This session will probably be etched in my mind as one of the craziest squidding session ive had so far, not in terms of size but sheer craziness, aggressiveness and numbers landed.
we hit up Port Philip bay South for a day of squid fishing and we weren't disappointed one bit.
we stumbled across a school of arrow squid, and pretty much all hell broke loose after that.
as you guys already know, arrow squid are know for their aggressive behaviour, and if you didnt happen to know that, then this session was sure to change your mind.
the squid were hitting jigs on the top of the water column, the speed with which they were attacking the jigs were phenomenal, extremely fast paced!!!
they were even trying to eat their own mates that were hooked on the jigs, with 4 and 5 followign the hooked squid and trying to have a go at the one that was hooked.
anyway, we landed over 50 squid between 3 of us on the boat, kept our bag and released the rest we caught..
the Yamashita Feeling shaft got a good workout, and any jig that went in got hammered!!!
the action was so crazy, i decided to turn on the gopro and start filming, luckily i managed some footage before the camera, the boat, myself and most of my clothes got covered in Ink
