I live 3kays from my local ramp but still cant go fishing seeing it was not on the list of things which are allowed in the greater Melbourne metro area

I've heard and seen photos that they're there, but it's sounding like they're not as plentiful as people were hoping.

Hi Dennis have heard some locals getting good ones front of queenscliff pressume thats in the bite but not in many numbers should get better next month or so
Whiting still around in good numbers if Leonard’s?

Well, fished for a good three hours and can say there were none around point Lonsdale last night Bloke I was talking to said they’ve been pulling them up to 2kg over the last week but no one was getting bites while I was out.

Last year there seemed to be a lot of brown weed covering the areas everywhere around Lonsdale Bite.
Last week I was fishing for them there seemed to be a fair bit of weed also -Not as bad as last year
Still might be a bit early.
