Waratah bay fishing trip

Post by Matty H » Sun Mar 08, 2020 7:49 pm

Have mentioned on another post, but better to ask the question here. Fishing trip in a couple of weeks to the bay, 5 fishing days. Will be launching my 4.75 stacer off Waratah south beach, conditions allowing. Have fished there several times before with reasonable success. Wanting to look for some bigger species, will troll for tuna n kingies, as well as live baiting squid or small baitfish, along with the bread and butter fishing Waratah is well known for. Any recent reports/suggestions would be welcome.
Probably won’t do this, but I’m always interested in shellback island across the bay as a big fish spot.

Cheers, Mat.
