Mallacoota Flathead

Post by mazman » Wed Aug 05, 2020 6:58 pm

Hey guys,

Another new vid up, starting to run a bit thin on the ground for pre lockdown content but still have a few more to edit. This one is an extremely memorable day fishing mallacoota, finding some great sized flathead and seeing some incredible things.

Another great day on the water Alex. Maybe it’s time you put out a video with a Bream as live bait!

Great video Alex
So calm & so cold (to me)
Do you eat fish ???? because, plenty of good fillets returned to the water
Bush on one side is buggered, the other is normal, that's Australia
Somewhere I'm going after lockdown
Cheers Gra

Then flattys all looked over the 55cm min length, which is probably why he’s returned them all to the drink

Thanks fellas was a great day out on the water.

Tex, there was a few flatties over the slot that had to go back but plenty of legal fish as well. Didn't have the means to cook or the need to keep any fish this trip so just put everything back.

There was lots of talk about why we put ourselves through conditions like that to go fishing but the first flathead put a pretty quick stop to those thoughts
