Land based close to Bairnsdale

Hey guys,

Down at Bairnsdale and have my surf gear & lures and also some light gear.
Could anyone possibly recommend a decent surf beach out this way for salmon/tailor?
What about a place for flicking soft plastics?
Don't know the area around here at all unfortunately and not a lot of time to research.
Would be great to get over to Golden Beach but it might be a bit far as there's a couple of families to consider

Hi nearest land accessible surf beach's as such are at Lakes Entrance /Eastern Beach, followed by Lake Bunga and Lake Tyers. Nice fishing jetty at Fisherman's Landing en route to lake Tyers and numerous jetties at Payneville, Metung Nungurner, Nyerimilang, Kaliimna (lakes fishing) Nicholson and Swan Reach (river fishing).... to name just a few. Suggest check other out Google/ Google maps & local fishy websites like this one for up to date advice on places to go and catches etc. Nice home made pies from the store at Nicholson if you go that way.
