Kayaking or Land based fishing

Post by fishing4cherub » Mon Jan 25, 2021 12:57 pm

Hi guys I just recently got into fishing thru my missos dad so i'm a bit of a noob but it's all been reading and watching in my spare time.

My mates and I are planning to go down to venus bay/anderson inlet in the next couple of weeks for two nights so I decided to have a fish while i'm down there. I thought it would be nice to hire out a tinny or a kayak but I had trouble finding a place online that rented them out.

Was wondering if you guys knew of any stores around there do hires or do you reckon I just try land based ?

Pretty sure there's hire boat place in Inverloch. Give them a call and hear what they say, what's biting, what's the water like, etc. Might worth hiring.

If it's the same one i'm thinking of, i think they are closed or temporarily closed due to covid since march which is a shame :(

Not sure why they’re shut now considering just about everything else is open. Give them another try I reckon.
