I gave them a crack at dawn this morning. Just at the Barrier landing . Kept four big ones, biggest just on 40cm, threw back about 6 undersize. After 9am couldn't get a bite. Pretty slow compared to a cpl of weeks ago but still a feed.
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.

Had a number of the outlaws down in the last couple of weeks. It went from "too easy" to catch whiting before they arrived to "hey, you told us they were everywhere !" "where are they now ????"

I found them again up the lake further. Now we have crap weather so can't get a go.
I thought grey skin was normal.
