Paynesville Report

Post by ango » Thu Apr 01, 2021 12:48 pm

Hi everyone,
I went out from Paynesville yesterday morning to have another go at the whiting. I fished around the Carstairs Bank area, after a few moves I found the whiting, however, they were pretty small, only 25 - 30cm. After about 4 hours and plenty of throw backs, I ended up with 6 keepers. It looks like the 35 - 38 cm fish I was catching before the big easterly blow and rain have moved on from the area. I wish I knew where they went, anyway it was a nice morning on the water and I ended up with a good feed.
Cheers
