It's 16' ...... I was expecting around 70+ kph and it does 64kph .
It's a very dry boat off shore and a lot better than the 4.2 blue fin I had .

Well it was crap out there. Still some wind swell. Rocking and rolling across the bar with all the flood water still going out. Caught one flathead and did an unintentional catch and release of a good size gummy. Had it up near the boat, grabbed the net , it did a final run and managed to tangle in my drogue, then as I cleared it from that it unhooked itself. I said " oh golly gosh how annoying" or something like that.

Well you did better than me I ended up with 2 gummys a Taylor and a salmon all well under size

I can just imagine " oh golly gosh how annoying"! My last decent sized Gummy "release" was accompanied by just one word LOL!

Went out the entrance at 19:10 this evening and was back in by 20:20 with 2 gummys ...... happy days

Well over the years I have seen a lot of things at sea. This does take the cake. Yesterday wave rider buoy sea surface temp 18 C today 13 C. I thought the buoy sensor had failed, so checked the sea surface temperature map from BOM. Serious upwelling. Can see is over Portland way it is the same. I have seen upwelling before but mostly dropped 1 or 2 degrees.
Also noted very high water temp in central NSW.
