A trip to the Murray, with my mate Brett.
The Ute is parked, and the camp is set.
A log on the fire, while sitting by the river.
Makes it our home, and stops the shiver.
A weekend fishing, to honor my Dad.
With fond memories, some happy some sad.
It was quiet and eerie, while we were there.
I think it was Dad, saying please don’t despair.
A trip to the Murray, with my mate Brett.
Remembering my Dad, whom I’ll never forget.
My condolences to you Dave and your family on the passing of your Dad.
