Lake Eildon 9/11
Fished Eildon yesterday on a mates boat, launched at 6 and retrieved at 2:30. We trolled the Delatite arm hoping for a yella but very tough going. Plenty of trout jumping and even saw one cruising the surface about 2m away from the boat as we drove past. My lure got demolished and peeled line but hooks pulled. Only fish for the day Was an estimated 30cm brown trout but happy to save the donut and get my first fish on my certate. Nice day to be out on the water though. Cheers Sam

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
