Unlucky seb, this is just part of fishing sometimes you win but always gonna be a time where we lose to the fish. It's what makes it even more rewarding when we win next time. I was at St lennys last night and bagged out on squid, 6 out of 10 were realy small lollipops for gummy and snapper. 4 was realy decent, no fish anywhere apart from rays and banjo's. Goodluck next time mate :ch:

Work and outside work has been stressful, I needed to go out.
Knew would be hard fishing landbased in shallows after so much rain, but went anyway.
Went to Port Melb, 6:15am-8:15am. Between me and a mate, one bite, and 8 northern pacific sea starfish (pests).

🤷‍♂️

Reporting three snagged squid jigs over the last week, and it seemed ideal earlier today, but they didn't want to play @ Mordi pier.
Perhaps it's the adjustment to the winter land based fishing I'm enduring?

St Helen landbased yesterday morning. Nothing but a banjo.
Heaps of people fishing, and only saw one flatty caught.
