Seven creeks, Broken River, or Eildon?

Post by BurnardTheGurnard » Tue Jun 07, 2022 12:29 am

Headed to a family place near Violet Town this weekend, haven’t done much fresh water fishing but eager to try. From what I’ve had a look at, the best spots nearby will be Seven Creeks (am aware that a lot of it is closed) through euroa, Broken river through Benalla, or making the longer trek down to Bonnie doon and fishing eildon. Which of these spots would be best for trout?

i live in violet town, fish bennalla and seven creeks, have streams running through my property.

bennalas good for carp and cod, caught my pb cod and pb carp there.

seven creeks has trout and carp, also cod. i may have caught all the carp though lol. fish near the bridge and the caravan park.

also the arboretum next to Euroa, heaps of fish, yellas and silvers and trout. corn works well.

pm me if you want some tips or spots or something.

tight lines,
