Depends on time of day the steam packet channel fishes well early and evenings most of the season. the spoil grounds between port and Clifton springs I like in the evenings. The Wilson spit area near arther the great bouy is a good spot early morning and into the evening. If fishing the Prince George bank area will launch from port. The st Leonard's ramp is a shocker at low tide have bent my prop several times there, I usually launch from queenscliff if fishing the heads to st Leonard's costs $10 but money goes to coastguard.
