Wrong time of year, from my experience in Geelong, maybe some warmer weather would increase chances.

I thought the snapper/pinkies get around the bay to Geelong last.

Can't remember where I heard that though.

Might be why some are showing up around Brighton at the moment.

East side first, then top end of the bay, then west side. Weird I reckon.

Cheers Amanda

I wss there yesterday from 1630 to 2000. Only managed 2 flathead of about 30cm. I thought the weather was good for pinkies last night as there was some wind and the place looked a bit stirred up but alas it was not meant to be :D

No prob's , well there's the winter Snapper that visit the Corio inner harbour & Summer has seasonal Snapper visit as well. Its never easy catching them , but there's a fair chance to score one if you regularly fish the area.
