Set out to hit the rising tide at North Shore last night in search of KGW. There was a cast of thousands, fully equipped with a porta stove and hookah pipe so I decided move on. Ended up on Geelong waterfront no whiting but scored a couple of flatties on SPs. Made for great Sunday lunch.

Good report and photos
Those fillets look beautiful, you know how to batter (where's the chips?)
Stove was a good idea, but those pipes go thru too much tobacco (?)
Cheers Gra

Cheers Texas, no spuds at the time so I skipped the chips.

Yeah, started to get pretty cold around 11pm so the stove would've been great.

I love flathead they look great. I bought a heated jacket in the end of financial year sales works a treat even has heated pockets. It could be a bit restrictive casting soft plastics for any length of time.
