Geelong waterfront quick report

Post by Sebb » Thu Aug 10, 2023 7:38 am

Fished geelong waterfront near the boats next to wangim.
6:30am-9:30am, high to running out tide.

Garlic marinated chicken breast as bait, as well as zman grub and slim swimz on 1/8 jighead. Fished with a mate.
Between two of us, landed 1 decent salmon around 35-40cm, one little salmon around 20-25cm, and one small flattt around 25cm.

Moved to wangim, and nothing.
And also seal swimming around.

Very nice!
I've been driving past each day watching seeing the glassed out conditions and wanting to flick a line haha!

I was expecting more salmon tbh. Last year there were a lot of reports of salmon busting.
