Portarlington 19th

Post by Nude up » Tue Oct 19, 2021 2:46 pm

Went out with my neighbour this morning gentleman's hours 930 launch . We went in his boat 4.8 quintrex. We just wanted a feed of fatties. The wind was up and down luckily it started south West then turned sse which is not bad here.
We drifted out from the harbour wall from 7mt to around 12mt . First 2 casts a 45 and 36 flattie we thought it was going to be a great day but then the rain came. Unfortunately my neighbours boat he couldn't move the zip on his bimini to get it out of the cover 😕. We toughed it out then the sun came out but the fish didn't really want to play we ended up with 5 then the wind really picked up so we headed home and had a beer.
