If ur local ramp is werribee , got me stuffed why u would travel so far to get squid.
To many boats kayak, helicopter , catch a fish,catch a fish

Depends if there has been rain n water clarity.
If there has been rain squid will be deeper , more fresh water from river n creeks push squid deeper.
I Straight out from marina 4-6 meters hour before dusk...
But raaf base or pt cook are well known spots...

I'm going to have a try off point cook raaf pier tomorrow
I'm expecting it to be a bit busy

Just wanted to update each of you.

18 squid from Indented Heads. Seems every boat I came across were kept very busy...Water was crystal clear and sitting at around 12.5 degrees. Everything caught in 4.5 to 5 metres.

Headed over to Wedge Spit on the way home for another 4.

All in all a great day on the bay

Point cook fished well to, got 16 in 2 hours. seems the squid are slowly firing
