Re: PortArlington- 17/11 -AM
Aye yup, another Red... the Talking Fishing boys had mentioned on Tuesday night that Point Richards was productive lately, so I figured PA is close enough that maybe I could land another.
But de nada, and very little by the way of bites as well, just small rubbish picking the hooks clean. To be honest I'm not surprised, with the westerly I should have stayed on the eastern side of PBB.

I'm assuming it's Land-Based. And not giving too much away but do you guys fair decently with Reds, Land-Based?
We used to get them here in SA (be it spasmodically) but have got to the stage over the last few years that a LB Red was a rarity.

Re: PortArlington- 17/11 -AM
Personally, I have only hooked two (landed one) LB big red.... so in my opinion I would still call Reds a rarity for the individual LB angler. Though.... some locations that are more productive as a location, delivering one or two ( a few?) a day, but never for the same angler. Mornington has the better (imho) reputation for consistently offering up one a night when the seaon is well underway Hence its proper name Schnapper Point. I don't think I have ever seen someone land more than one on any given session....So not sure if that qualifies ss decent or rare.Bugatti wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2019 2:06 pmI'm assuming it's Land-Based.
