Went out with my neighbour today straight out from portarlington to our favourite gummy spot. We had big baits out whole squid. To pass the time we were flicking soft plastics I was using a grub in motor oil colour and it was the stand out.
We had a few hits on the squid but non stuck they just mouthed the baits.
On our way back we stopped off for a quick squid fish and there were plenty around multiple follows a great day we ended up with 25 flatties and 16 squid
