I've been out West to Manor lakes and East to Pakenham these last few weeks trying to catch a stinking Carp. I don't know why I bother when I can just jump on my bike and head down the creek!

What a great start to the 'season'. Thing was bloody huge, photo doesn't do it justice!

Got a couple of units out of the creek today. The recent rain seems to have stirred them up a bit.

Got out-fished by a Father-Son combo yesterday 3-0.

Hopefully this warmer weather sticks around for a bit.

Not quite what I was after, but I'll take it!

Ended up with two Eels and dropped 1 Carp, so it was a semi-productive day. Worms did the damage.

Eels always active after a big rain.

Got a quick fish in before the rain. Lots of dickie bites before a solid hook-up with a Carp and then an Eel.

According to the forecast, the rain may set in for a few days, so will probably pack the rods away, again :(

Timed my run beautifully, as I only got a little bit wet on the ride home.
