There are some very large Trout in the King Parrot creek in the lower reaches. Anywhere downstream from Strath Creek all the way down to where it runs into the Goulburn has some nice deeper holes that holds some good fish. No idea about deep creek. Give it a try, you never know. Use unweighted worms and maybe a #2 baitholder hook, see what you can get and let us know

Highlands Lake in Craigieburn has plenty of redfin but it can be hit and miss.

Yeah I seen my fair share of tiger snakes along that stretch of the king parrot creek I’ve fished it 4 times with seeing snakes 2 of the 4 times. Only ever caught small rainbows I wonder if there’s any browns aswell in the creek
