Fly Fishing After Rain

Post by Jucfishing » Sat Oct 16, 2021 11:51 am

Hey Everyone,
I was thinking of doing an Otways camping trip next weekend and wanted to do some fly fishing but I heard there is some rain expected. Would the river be running too high and muddy or is there some that should clear up? Also do the trout settle after the rain or do they still actively feed?
Thanks :vy:

As long as the water isn't too dirty, they should still bite.
A small nymph under a royal wulf usually works.
