They are aren't they. When other lures aren't getting a touch the t tails will get fish all day.

I learnt a little trick for them recently. If you get a packet and a few of the tails are bent or aren't straight and don't swim properly what you do is boil up some water, let it cool for a minute then dunk the plastics in the hot water. It straightens any kinks out of most plastics. Don't leave then in too long though because if the water is too hot they can melt.

What about when I rig mine up and they always end up wonky on the jig head. Hahahah

This season I've found a bream lure that has worked pretty well on the trout and it's the Atomic Shad40 Ghost Gill brown model..
had them in the tackle box all last season and decided to give them a crack on a river one day when the trout were a little fussy.. cheers

Can Tassie devils be used in small streams that aren't too deep? Or are they more suited for lakes?
Just trying to decide what trout lures I should invest in. So far it's the rapalas and some various spinners.

I've never used Tassie's in small streams but my guess would be to only use the 7 gram ones with a fast retrieve in a reasonably deep pool anything bigger is more suited to lakes. All my spinners for streams max out at around 5 grams but I go to about 7grams with shallow running hardbodies.Soft plastics with a light jig head also work as you can bounce them along the bottom. The depth of the stream/river will also dictate what weight lure you can use but I generally go light in streams/river and heavier in lakes.
There are guys on here with way more experience than me and they might be able to give you more tips.
