Anglesea River
Hi Guys,
Has anyone fished the Anglesea River lately (ie last 6 months)? I know there was a big fish kill there last year and was wondering if it was worth fishing or not as I'm heading down for the long weekend.
I'll probably fish Aireys Inlet as well.
Cheers.

Not worth fishing there unless you wish to catch small bream. There were tons of them 6 wks ago.

Painkalac creek is worth a fish, you might be able to find somewhere out of the wind.

It's at Aireys Inlet - a beautiful little estuary. Might be worth a go for estuary perch this time of year.

Could be worth trying crabs for bait, which can be found under the rocks at the ends of nearby beaches, to get past the pickers.pkyap4326 wrote:Not worth fishing there unless you wish to catch small bream. There were tons of them 6 wks ago.
