What a weekend for fishing out of Barwon Heads, yes tons of boats but weather and fishing made up for the inconvenience. Saturday I took my time knowing Ocean Grove boat ramp would be hectic at first light so I waited until 7:30am and put the boat in with no wait at all. I started trolling in 15m of water east with the oz bangers pink 450mm spreader bar 40m out the pack and a pink pakula uzi 5” off that, then a pakula uzi 5” in green /blue off a birded 3 squid daisy chain and a x rap mag deep diver in red bait (rrb) in close. After 20min I started heading SE into deeper water and when I hit 35 meters a massive bait school appeared with some good arches underneath, soon after I was hit on the green/blue uzi. A good 15kg tuna onboard ( brain spike, pectoral bleed with constant bouncing in the water up and down, then I remove the gills and pull out the guts in one lot, over the side and cleaning again and straight into ice bag. This process has given me constant quality meat over the years.
Sunday was the same spread but pink daisy chain out the back did the damage, these pakula uzi 5” lures have been a standout out of Barwon Heads for me. This time my wife went to work and landed a cracker 25kg tuna.
Worth noting if you ever get frustrated with parking at ocean grove I removed my trailer and locked it and put it in its own car spot and parked the ute beside it with front row parking in under 3min. Obviously not a option for larger boats.

I'm sure your clips are fun to watch but its probably better to introduce yourself and spam us with links to your youtube channel with your own post rather than resurrect multiple old posts.
