6am launch at Roadknight with a couple of mates in one of their boats. Headed towards the FAD, drifting in 40 - 50m in a brisk and cool NW wind. Soaked a range of baits for consistent patches of pinkies, swarms of mackerel, a cuttlefish, too many gurnard, a few good flatties and some wrasse. With plenty for a feed we did a winding troll back with deep divers and surface lures for zip, before anchoring off the beach to the west of Roadknight in 25m for slim return. By this time conditions had glassed out however, making up for a lack of fish. All up another great day on the water.
