princetown

Post by Nude up » Fri Nov 30, 2018 8:27 pm

Just returned from the annual camping trip with the guys off my shift. A mixture of fishing 4wd and large quantities of alcohol. We went for 6 days we stayed at the oval camping ground a short walk from the beach.
The tides were very favorable being high tide around lunch time although the major high was in the night.
The first day we fished around 6 of us only 1 person caught fish not that I rubbed it in I caught 7 all salmon using squid strips and blue bait on home made snapper snatcher in a light blue colour. I smoked 3 fish for the boys who had it prior to the evening barby.

The next time we fished 2 people caught fish I again caught 7 and was disappointed I missed a few bites. One of the other guys caught 1 as well all salmon. Again we kept a couple for smoking.

One of the guys brought a new light it was $32 on ebay called fishing pole light. It was a telescopic fishing rod with an led light at the top 4.5 meters long came with all the cable and a spike rod holder myou just supply 12 bolts was awesome
