As Brett will attest to, the salmon can turn up at any point on that beach. Caught them from the rocks to the right of the first carpark, to the far end towards Cape Schanck.

Brett let me know when you are fishing next and I'll swing by with the lures for your son. I doubt anyone is gonna top 69cm in the next few hours

From the other side of gunners this afternoon july 17. Fished 415pm to 545pm for 17 fish.

Nothing huge to make your arm sore. Biggest was only 1.1kg. Smallest was 600 grams.

Yes. Salmon hits their prey by the head.
