LANG LANG 21/05

Post by wishing4fishing » Thu May 22, 2014 9:30 am

Hi all how are we?
Weather has been glorious so went down to Lang Lang last night just near the caravan park. Parked my car all the way up and set myself up for the long haul.
Was an awsum night, slight breeze, got their about 5.30pm, nice n warm. Had a variety of baits, pillies, pippies, chicken, squid and blue bait. Was fishing with a mate and we both had 2 rods on the go. After a total of 6 hrs fishing we managed to land NOTHING!!! Was a frustrating night fishing i must say not even a nibble!!! Bangg
Anyways got me out of the house for a while, you win some you loose some, better luck next time.

Happy Fishing.

Been there done that as everyone on this forum would have :doh1:

you can't dwell on it you just plan and move onto the next trip

if you look at the most successful anglers they are the ones that do the most trips with the freshest bait...

Hey wishing ! ... I'm not familiar with that neck of the woods but I do hear "Stockyard point" mentioned a lot

I dunno how far you are from there but it may be worth trying ?..

Lang Lang is not far from stockyard pt at all, only difference is you need to go stockyard on low tide and walk 20-30 min to reach channel, Lang Lang however you park the car and take 2 steps and your ready to go, just a bit lazy on my part.

Good to fish those two in tandem if you have the time. When you run out of water at Lang Lang, just pop five mins down the road. Can get weedy at stockyard sometimes too.

Can anyone suggest whats better to fish off this weekend, Newhaven Pier or San Remo Pier ? Open to other suggestions, just looking to catch variety.
Normally do a fair amount of squiding (landbased) PPB

Cheers.
