The newer Jewels certainly Look and feel decent, shimano have defenitely upped their game in the rod division, The jewels, maikuro and the zodias are defenitely some good models..
In saying that though, the demon blood any day over the shimano equivalent.

What he has bought is the newer model.. as basti mentioned they have recently updated the range and the older ones are the ones on clearance. Got the last handful of glow yamas from Japan Lure Shop, worked out to be about $12 each including postage and they even threw in the orange one as a freebie. Anyone know what it is? It says 'Egi no Suke' in English and the rest is in Japanese or Chinese or something.
