They don't need to stop everyone, it's only a fairly small minority that don't support continuing the restrictions. For all the complaints about Dictator Dan, his approval ratings are through the roof.

Victorians have been conditioned for socialism for a while now, but Comrade Dan's approval rating will soon wane. In the meantime, especially in rural areas, people just get on with it whether it's fishing or anything else.

It's not just Victoria, it's the same all over the place. Even in the US a very large majority of people are happy with the stay at home orders and it's only a vocal minority with an astroturf campaign backing them that are making any noise.

Unfortunately 4liters is right. Most people live sad lives and don't do anything so don't really care about staying locked down. As long as they can go for a ride in their spandex and get a soy latte they are happy.

Or maybe they're as bored shitless as we are but are willing to dig deep and do their civic duty to try and knock over the virus in this state.

Hey Stumpjumper.
We are still waiting for you to explain what communism and socialism is. How come that you just ignore those requests to enlighten us all?
Because, and this is of course just my opinion, if you think that Dan Andrews is a communist or socialist you have zero ideas about the nature of those ideologies. But feel free to prove me wrong if you can.... but this time provide some some solid evidence.
