The lake is stocked just before school holidays.

During the holidays I believe lots of kids go out there and catch quite a few fish.

I have had similar experiences to everyone here where its difficult to have much luck except just after it has been stocked.

Is 'Devil Bend' the lake on the Mornington Peninsula? I have read articles about it in fishing magazines. A lot of preparation has gone into the lake. Has it officially been opened to fishing yet as all the articles I have read state that they are still waiting for an opening date! Unless of course it has opened in the last couple weeks.
thanks

Will have to await his advise on that.

why are you fishing Devilbend when it's not scheduled to open to the public until 8.30am on 17 November 2012?
