PS - Pat is one of the most intelligent and down to earth young man i came across .. not sure what's his proper title would be after research projects he completed since i last saw him .. probably the dean by now (not surprised if true) yet his conduct and posts on this forum has been exemplary ... perhaps some of the younger members here should re-read his posts ... and by doing so you will absorb the respectful nature shown by Pat to everyone on this forum.
Seems to be the older crew who don't like science. Pretty sure it's Dr Broomstick these days too :D
Not so sure about that Dougie, cheers davo

Show me any climate denier under the age of 30 that isn't either intentionally trolling or indoctrinated into a tribal political group who believe their side is right no matter what they say.

Jesus Christ broomy. Those pics are absolutely amazing. Awesome trip and one id love to replicate one day!

How good is setting up a 4by to get away? I’ve finally decked mine out in these past 12 months. Same drawers. Fridge setup etc. makes life so good when camping.

My sincere apologies Tim399 and of course to Pat as well.

I was ummm and ahhh about adding the PS comment to my original post because the last thing i wanted to do was turning this great post from Pat into a farcical bickering exercise - deeply regret it now and hoping mad it won't go down that path.

THANK YOU!!
Thanks for taking the time to put the report together there's a lot of work here. I am literally in awe of everything about this trip. Absolutely love the way you treasure and capture the beauty of nature. Some spectacular bird life that I haven't seen before. Seriously your reports are the best thing on this forum.
Appreciate it my friend :-D

You've done it again Pat !!!

Great to see you living life to the max and giving it a go (even in an old vehicle with limited off road experience) - memories you definitely will treasured for the rest of your life.

Thank you for giving us (or teasing us??) an insight into the beauty nature displayed in some of the remotest places. Bet you many of us would have loved to be in your shoe for that journey.

Look forward to part 2!!!!

No need to apologise at all mate! That's very flattering, and although I'm not sure all that praise is warranted, I appreciate it all the same :-D

Mate it's the best thing. I could see myself living out of it full time in the not so distant future. A slightly newer car would be nice though...bloody hell it chews some fuel.
