LX, thanks. Your memory is smack bag, both the raking and Brighton Jetty. And that Fish Shop is still there. Only thing, they serve the Chips in those polystyrene takeaway trays.

Thanks smile, they are fit for the King, unfortunately I'm more the Court Jester, but they still are nice

Cheers Bugs

Thanks Adrian.

I love it when the Blueys come in, they are tasty but the thing I love about them is they have "everybody" appeal. It's probably the only easy fishing that brings families consistently out, Mums & Dads with their Kids, School kids, I've even seen all female teams. Something that has kicked off quite well over the years is just walking the metro beaches with torches and raking/netting them up.

And the great thing, most often you end up with a feed

Cheers, Bill

Thanks Tex

I wouldn't be too hard on yourself AND undeserved accolades to me, that them Blueys is Dumber and Dumber, they are the ocean fairing Dodo Crab.

A friend who has come Crabbing with me a few times has asked if I could make them a simple trolley with trays/compartments/tubs to cart her stuff with.

Cheers, Bugatti

I was looking through old photos, and this one (ones) were of a trip to Semaphore Jetty catching Crabs 2 years ago, with the friend who has asked me to make her a kart/trolley

She has a real eye for photos too, snapped up these guys, who kept us company for an hour or so

I thought I'd caption some up, as Bugatti does

Thanks Voo, and yep, many a man (me included) have been beguiled by them ladies.

But as far as the Crabs, a good antidote for anything and munging into a Crab sure makes the beer disappear
