Post by Matthew drako » Sun Dec 16, 2018 11:29 pm

Hey all,
I live in the north of ppb and was just wondering whether there are any decent lb spots for squid preferably in between Werribee Altona point cook and Williamstown. Looking for a pass time when not out on the boat. Thanks

Werribee breakwall x 2.

Bowl how do you go about fishing the Williamstown break wall near the boat shed as you described? It looks rather snaggy and I am not game enough to throw out my squid jigs to the snags.

If worried about losing jigs, using heavier line and leader can improve your retrieval chances if you snag up. Heavy enough line (around 20lb) that you can pull on the snag and straighten the barbs works for me, it will reduce casting distance if using light 2.5 jigs though.
