PB roach

Not a hugely discussed fish but I caught my PB roach on a float today

Top catch mate , were you using worms or dough for bait ?

Using bread with a couple of red beads above the hook

Love roach, grew up catching them, they were my go to fish as a kid and the ones that got me hook.
Plenty river used to be full of the, bit of dough under a float and it was on.
Nice catch Bigger, brings back some memories.....

Wd mate , they have always had that look that a redfin 'messed around' with a carp, or vice versa. Used to get a lot of them around the halllam/dandenong creek as a kid.

You get some good sized ones in the Yarra from time to time. When I was young they were a lot of fun on the light gear .

They are definitely a very fun fish to catch and also of the fish that got me hooked on fishing
